Face Serums: Highly Concentrated Active Care for Flawless Skin
The most important step in any modern skincare routine? A first-class face serum. Unlike conventional creams, serums have a much finer molecular structure. This allows highly concentrated active ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin layers and act where cell regeneration and collagen production take place. Whether intensely moisturizing, pore-refining, or as a powerful anti-aging treatment – our Hiluva high-end serums give your skin the ultimate, radiant glow.
Our High-End Serums at a Glance
Every skin has its own needs. That's why we have developed an exclusive collection of active ingredient serums that combine cutting-edge science with pure effectiveness:
-
FACE PDRN Serum (10,000ppm Rose DNA): The luxurious anti-aging masterpiece. Utilizes cell-repairing PDRN DNA and peptides (Bio-Botox) to smooth expression lines and tighten skin structure for an incomparable Rose Glow.
-
Exosome Face Serum: The future of skincare. Exosomes act as intelligent messengers that repair damaged skin (Skin Repair), stimulate collagen production, and plump up tissue from within.
-
Niacinamide + Hyaluron Face Serum: Your daily soft-focus filter. Brightens bothersome pigment spots, refines large pores, and provides deep-acting moisture for the "Glass Skin" effect through high-dose hyaluronic acid.
The Science Behind the Glow
At Hiluva, we refrain from using fillers and rely on evidence-based cosmetic active ingredients (K-Beauty Science) that deliver real, visible results:
PDRN & Exosomes
Cellular signaling agents that elevate skin regeneration to a clinical level. They repair UV damage, reduce wrinkles, and sustainably renew the skin's protective barrier.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
An essential active ingredient for an even complexion. It regulates sebum production, reduces redness, and gently yet effectively brightens hyperpigmentation.
Hyaluronic Acid & Ceramides
The perfect moisture magnets. They bind water in the deep skin layers and seal it with ceramides to instantly minimize dehydration lines.
Skin Layering: How to Apply Face Serums Correctly
Always apply your face serum after cleansing (and after toner) to slightly damp skin. This allows hyaluronic acid, in particular, to better lock in moisture. A few drops are enough! Gently pat the serum with your fingertips until it is completely absorbed. Afterwards, it is essential to seal the highly active ingredients with a nourishing face cream (moisturizer). Our tip: You can perfectly combine our serums! Use the clarifying Niacinamide Serum in the morning as a base under your make-up and treat your skin to the rich FACE PDRN or Exosome Serum for cell repair overnight.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Face Serums
1. What is the difference between a serum and a cream?
Creams have larger molecules and are primarily intended to protect the skin's surface and seal in moisture. Serums consist of very small molecules that penetrate deep into the dermis to deliver highly concentrated active ingredients such as peptides, DNA, or niacinamide.
2. At what age should I start using anti-aging serums?
The body's natural collagen production already begins to slowly decline from the mid-20s. It is advisable to start early with moisturizing and protective serums (such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide) and, by the late 20s at the latest, to incorporate regenerative products such as our Exosome or PDRN Serum preventatively into your routine.
3. What is PDRN (Rose DNA) in skincare?
PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) are DNA fragments that serve as biological building blocks. Our FACE PDRN Serum uses a vegan, highly effective variant (Rose DNA) which promotes wound healing, initiates deep-seated cell repair, and intensely tightens tissue.
4. How do exosomes help against wrinkles?
Exosomes are microscopic vesicles that act as communication agents between cells. They "instruct" older, inactive skin cells to behave like young cells again, thereby reactivating collagen and elastin production for firmer skin.
5. Can I layer (combine) multiple Hiluva face serums?
Yes! We recommend the Niacinamide + Hyaluron Face Serum in the morning for protection and pore refinement. In the evening, for optimal regeneration, you can alternate between the Exosome Serum or the FACE PDRN Serum. Always apply the most watery serum first and work your way up to richer textures.
6. Do face serums help with pigment spots and acne marks?
Definitely. Our Niacinamide + Hyaluron Serum, with its high-dose Vitamin B3, is an excellent "brightening" active ingredient that helps to visibly even out and lighten dark spots, redness, and hyperpigmentation.
7. How much serum do I need per application?
Less is more! Our high-end serums are highly concentrated. Typically, 2 to a maximum of 4 drops (or pumps) are sufficient to adequately cover the entire face, neck, and décolleté.
8. Do I absolutely need to use a cream after the face serum?
Yes. A serum deeply delivers active ingredients into the skin but often does not provide enough occlusion (sealing) to keep moisture in the skin throughout the day or night. A cream locks in the active ingredients and forms a protective barrier to the outside.
9. Are Hiluva face serums suitable for sensitive skin?
Our formulations are dermatologically well-conceived and contain numerous soothing components such as rose water, allantoin, and panthenol. However, for very sensitive skin, we always recommend performing a small patch test in the crook of the arm before the first application.
10. Does skin become oilier with the use of serums?
On the contrary. Often, skin becomes oily because it lacks moisture. Our light, fast-absorbing face serums intensely moisturize the skin without clogging pores (non-comedogenic). Niacinamide, in particular, even helps to regulate sebum production.
